How can this be solved

Weve had a little bit of drama. we defeat illidari council 2 months ago, and illidan is still not down.people keep gquiting when we get enough people geared to kill illidan, we have went through FOUR warlock tanks without a single attemt. and this is all because people cant shut thier mouth in gchat. what should I do? weve tried to removing guild chatting priveladges too all but officers but that made people leave. raiding would be easy if it wasnt for the relationshps >:(|||i'd need details... if it's one or 2 or 3 people offending/pissing off everyone else... gkick them. If it's officers or the GM pissing everyone off, you're doomed.

I mean, people need to 1) be reasonably civil and 2) not be babies who gquit if one bad thing is said to them.

You can try to do a "PG language in gchat" kind of rule, but it sounds like you're recruiting people who are immature. It doesn't take a lot to know that you don't insult people, use perjorative language or in general disrespect people. If those people are officers, you're screwed. If they're new people you need to screen more carefully. If they're existing members then the officers need to set some standards and weed out the people who can't control themselves.

I mean, most people I've met are reasonably mature.. not perfect, but reasonable. So I'm guessing you're getting a lot of guild hoppers who move from guild to guild looking for the next level in progression and those people usually aren't the best members of a guild.|||cant you just have a vent channel for officers, and each officer can have an additional vent channel for their team?|||i dno't think the issue is vent... it's guild chat (there IS a separate officer chat btw).

But, really, until we have some details... /shrug|||What personally worries me, is that he mentions Warlock tanks... o.O|||Warlocks tank illidan for a phase. just like mages tank a boss in gruuls and illidaari council.last tuesday we got all our issues aside and did a complete hyjal run, first in a month. Then yesterday got to illidan and wiped at 25%,30%,17% and 14% and we called it a day. hopefully in 2-3 weeks time we can down him and start farming warglaives.
