raid save question

If I have a lvl 70 rogue who gets saved to karazhan on Friday night.

Then comes Saturday, and said rogue doesn't get back into Karazhan with that group.

Can my lvl 70 Warlock then go into that same saved raid? Or is your 'account' saved and not the speicific toon? Sorry if I'm not asking this correctly - haven't been able to come up with anything during a couple of searches.|||i think the toon is saved, so you could go with your warlock. but i am not 100% sure. try it and tell us the result :)|||Raid IDs are per character. You can swap in an alt for a specific fight for example.|||thanks for the replies!|||i also have a question do to with this.

if u go to kara for example and you and your raid is saved to it, if you want to have a break and comeback the next day for example, do you have to come back with the exact same group? the same raid leader or what? thanks|||as long as everyone in the new group has either the same raidID or no raid ID, and at least one person has the same ID they will all go to the same instance.

It is advisable, however, to have someone who is saved zone in first. In some cases people who are not saved may get sent to a fresh instance if you do not do this.

In the event this happens, have the non-saved characters zone out and back in after the saved people are in, and they'll magically wind up in the same instance.|||ok so if i was the only one saved, then i would have to go in first and everyone else, assuming they had no raid id would follow and they would all go to where mine was saved? or do i need more than one person with the same raid id?|||They would get your instance if you entered first (no need for two people). Keep in mind that this is also the same instance as everyone else with that ID has. This means they'll enter an empty instance if you do the instance with new people and they come back later on.

You get a raid ID tag once you get saved to an instance. Typically, killing a boss will save you and you'll get a text in your log saying "you are now saved to this instance". Two people with different raid IDs will not be able to enter the same instance and will end up in the one they are saved to if they enter. You can check your raid ID by opening the raid tab and pressing "raid info" or by typing /raidinfo to open it.|||ok thanks guys :) that has cleared it up completely for me :D
