Gluth 10 man

Whats peoples best make up for the kiting of this fight?

We could do this with relative ease when i was a ret pally kiting and having a hunter frost trap, and a mage frost nova when needed.

how ever i have now gone holy and the hunter is main kiter, the hunter cant seem to grab all the mobs, so im fearing, stunning and holy wrathing when i can, whilst healing the hunter, unfortunately the hunter gets caught with too many mobs and pretty much gets one hit, then im kiting and healing myself with little succes :).

I must say we got better at it and got up to 3 decimates, on last attempt.|||We usually use one or two hunters or a hunter and a mage for it.|||So you actually have 2 fulltime kiters?

Both grabbing loose adds?|||I did it as frostfire with a shaman placing earthbind between Gluth and the zombies in case they spawned far away from me. I had ES and got tossed the odd heal when I screwed up. Not very fun to do as frostfire without dragons breath or blastwave, but a frostmage should have no problems dealing with it.

I'm guessing it's a better idea to have two kiters if you can't handle all of them with one person. You could have another person helping out once you get a certain amount of zombies for example. Most people in the raid should be able to help out as well. Have priests shackle, palas HoJ etc untill the kiter is close enough to pick them up. Restoshamans frostshocking to slow them down is not recommened however ;)|||we use 2 hunters or hunter/mage combo for this fight. as long as you dont let the adds get to him then beating the timer should be no probs|||slow : shaman or hunter

kite : mage, hunter, pala or DK.|||Ok, When i was doing it as Ret pally i had to keep near the spawn point and had the hunter drop a frost trap in front of it, i would try my best to do laps around the frost trap picking up the adds as they spawned. I couldnt stray to far away while kiting because i didnt have a great range on attacks to pick them up. sometimes judging wouldnt aggro them and i would have to come in to melee with them.

If we were using a hunter would the kiting path be more around the edge of the walls? as they have a range to pick the adds up from pretty much anywhere in the back of the room? Our hunter was tracking the same path i did, more in the middle around the frost trap.|||I've semi-solo kited the adds on my hunter (shaman dropping slowing totem nearby but otherwise not interfering), I try to drop frost trap by the grating and kite around the trap, picking up everything that spawns and adding to my train.

The hairy moments are when trap needs refreshing... sometimes I drop the trap at the edge of my kiting circle & move it closer to the wall, then move it back again closer to the middle on next refresh.

(wtb arrow of frost trap :/|||We have had our DPS warrior/ druid/ retpally slap on some form of tanking gear and kite them around with healers keeping hots and shields on them whenever they come close. It can get hairy if they make a mistake and have to run through a large pack of zombies. Our healers are rather impressive though so this may just be a fluke.

In 25man we found that a Prot Warrior is able to solo kite them with very little issues using all the stuns and charges avalible. The encounter normally ends with him at 99stacks of the Debuff but it isnt too much to heal through.
