Putricide

[:1]Ok raiders, my guild is a bit stumped on the Professor.

We know the mechanics of the fight well but somehow we find the enrage timer difficult to beat.

I know the first thing that will be said is: your dps is a problem.

However it shouldnt be as everyone of the 10man group is 5.5kGS upwards. I know you cant take everything by GS its just a guide for you guys

Slime pool control is fine and the add burning seems pretty good. Is it to do with having to move north and south constantly?

Any tips on how to beat this monster would be appreciated.|||Quote:

If you wanna tell us more about your DPS, you have to tell us their dps, not their gs.|||Quote:

It was only as a guide as usually in most cases u can imagine an average DPS from GS.

Anyway,

The 5 DPS range from 5k to 7k so far sufficient for this fight. I notice a drop off because of the amount of moving that needs to be done so for this fight.

Anyway of keeping dps up consistantly?|||Move less. The amount of moving you need to do is far less than one would think at first.|||Quote:

So would you suggest taking a more middling stance?|||No.

Melee stands on green slime spawn spot. Insta kills it when it spawns, backs turned to the table where Putricide starts in case the green slime targets one of them.

Ranged stands at table.

No one ever needs to move more than a tiny bit if you do it right, other than for the Orange slimes.|||If the positioning changes Aerath suggested aren't enough, there are a couple more things to consider.

First of all, are people getting hit by Goo and Beakers? The damage from being hit is easily healable, but the dps loss from the debuffs will quickly bring you to the enrage timer. Make sure people know that getting hit is completely unacceptable, and make sure they know that getting hit is why you are hitting the enrage timer.

Second, you can drop to 2 healers. It's not a hard fight to two heal as long as you make sure that you have a dps who can toss out some heals if a healer is picked to kite the orange slime. (It's not always an issue, but with some healing combos, it can really be an issue if one of the healers is moving and can't cast some of their spells due to the movement.)

P3 healing is one of those cases where it's better to have more dps so you never get to the point where healing gets bad enough that you need 3 healers. Our P3s became a lot easier when we dropped to 2 healers. Killing him when the tanks are at 4 stacks vs. killing him when the tanks are at 5 is huge as far as what raid damage looks like.|||don't get hit by malleable, don't get hit by bombs

those are the biggest dps losses

how much ranged vs melee do you have?

we tank him by the green spawn same as the others are saying
