Does anyone have any advice about which instances are the best to solo? I have 3 70's to choose from, basically I am bored with the daily quests and rep grind and just want to do fun stuff to make money for WotLK. I can DE and all that, but what are some good instances with decent BoE drops that can be auctioned. Naturally I dont want to do an instance that is too hard for me, but I dont want to breeze through either. For reference, I tried scholo the other night and got to Rattlegore (first boss?) before I died. thanks for info, have a good weekend.|||You do a search for BOE items that come from instances using a filter on wowhead. that may be the quickest way to find the info. I'm not sure how much gold/hour this will really bring in.|||Killing the guy that drops fiery enchant takes 2 and a half minutes on my hunter (yes, I timed it). Just run to him, kill him, feign and run back and reset. You'll need the key and a server where people are stupid enough to buy it ofc. Sold two for 80ish gold, but the drop was a bit lower than expected. Can be done with any 70 (and probably lower), only difference is having to kill his two adds and not having cheetah.
Have to think a bit about the non-hunter stuff. Greater eternal essence and illusion dust sells at insane prices on my server for some reason so just clearing out a 60 instance is probably worthwhile. LBS, preferably in the form of mana oil (the old healing/mp5 one) should sell. Bosses in the UD side of strat often drop bop greens that diss into GEE/Illusion dust as well as the normal blues.
DM east has thorium mines at the end. You'll have to kill two bosses and 3 packs of mobs (unless you pull extra). Used it for leveling up BS on my alt and even had Forors drop from Zevrim while doing it.
edit: Can't really think of any BoE zonedrops that are worthwhile to farm. I think we're down to 4 mobs that can drop shadowfang in SFK now.|||No one would ever suspect this place... Maraudon. Why Maraudon you ask? Not that many people go to Mara, so not that many people get the level 40-48 greens that drop from there, which sell very well... Cause honestly, how often do you have an item stuck at 20-35 and you usually have to wait until 50 to replace the item? It happens all the time, you can fill that gap and get gold.|||any old world dungeon should be easy to solo on with a 70. strat,scholo and dire maul are all fun and easy enough as long as you are carefulll with your pulls. lrbs and ubrs are a bit harder but still very easy. all of these places drop nice enchants and greens to de. if your char has enchanting then any drops are good as the mats will sell for good money.
strat is good for righteous obs (used for crusader) though with wolk coming out the price will prob drop as they are also needed by anyone wanting to go to nax if they dont have exhaulted with argent dawn|||Quote:

You need orbs to get into new naxx? Are you sure about argent dawn rep for new naxx as well? I'm pretty sure Blizzard has said repeatedly that they don't want old rep used in new expansions.|||Quote:

Yup, they have and you didn't benefit from any old world rep in TBC. Can't see any reason why they would want us to go back to do 60 instances to get attuned at 80.|||Righteous Orbs sell for a minimum of like, 50g, and you can get at least 3 to drop in a Live Strath run. Up to around 6.|||After watching some of the wowhobb's video's on youtube i've been thinking of having a crack at this myself, however i think my lock may lack the tankability to do this in anything apart from the lower lvl instances? (not helped by me out aggroing my felguard ) so i'm slowly grinding up a pali to give this a go.|||Which is why you have a healthstone, a sacrifice voidwalker, and health potions you can get from running the instance.
